Since the last posting, we've been busy with a variety of things, including:
--a 10-day trip to Tanzania for Brian in August
--a second summer trip to Georgia to spend more time with new cousin Aaron
--a Wellesley friends reunion in Ottowa for Caroline over Labor Day weekend
--visits from all grandparents
--home improvements! New refrigerator, new dishwasher, new screens on screened porch, new fence in backyard, and a painted (blue) foyer [No change in shutter color YET - stay tuned!]
--weekend trip to Outer Banks to visit our good friend Meghan at the Currituck Beach lighthouse
--potty training! Sam went pee-pee in the toilet for the first time on Saturday. Woo-hoo!!
--Work (Brian, work (Caroline), volunteer work (Caroline), and more work (parenting Sam). We somehow manage to eat 3 nutritious meals each day and have clean clothes to wear (usually), but the days feel very full right now. Having a 2-year old who operates on toddler time adds a whole new layer to our "time management" challenges.
Please forgive the long stretch of time since our last posting. Enjoy the pictures! A random selection of pictures of important events and regular everyday moments, which is a good metaphor for our life right now!
